Jim Campbell’s “Scattered Light” at Madison Square Park

27 Oct

Jim Cambell, an electrical engineer is now using his expertise to make public art. The light show, entitled “Scattered Light”, consists of 1600 light bulbs modified with LEDs that flickr in patterns to make it seem like people are walking by. Each bulb hangs on its own line and swings freely in the wind. On a clear night like tonight, it really is a soothing sight to see. If you’re in the area, you should definitely stop by for a few minutes to check it out in person. It’s located in Madison Square Park, NYC.

Check out his website here.
